 Job Description:

Head of Hardware Sales

Were looking for an experienced sales leader to drive hardware sales across key defense and public safety markets.

Responsibilities

  • Expand Revenue Identify and pursue sales opportunities across core market segments, leveraging existing relationships and cultivating new ones to build a strong pipeline for 2025 and beyond.
  • Refine GTM Strategy Enhance and execute our go-to-market approach, shaping product positioning, business development strategies, and the sales funnel to achieve growth objectives.
  • Build & Lead a Sales Team As demand scales, assemble and manage a high-performing hardware sales team, ensuring a structured hiring and onboarding process.
  • Develop Channel Partnerships Establish and strengthen relationships with distributors, resellers, and key industry partners, balancing direct and indirect sales strategies. Lead partner engagements, including demos, conferences, and customer interactions.

This position reports to the VP of Defense Strategy and can be based in San Antonio, TX, with hybrid options and up to 75% travel to headquarters, customer sites, and operational environments.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Passion for supporting end users and ensuring mission success
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment with rapid iteration
  • Proven ability to develop and execute a sales strategy to meet annual quotas
  • Strong communication skills with a track record of engaging senior stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of the hardware sales process, including discovery, negotiations, and customer success management
  • Willingness to travel (25-75%)

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience selling hardware systems to defense, public safety, or international markets
  • Familiarity with the defense acquisition process and public safety procurement
  • Military, law enforcement, or operational UAS experience is a plus
  • Prior experience in shaping and executing go-to-market strategies for UAS hardware
  • Established relationships in the domestic UAS industry, particularly with channel partners
  • Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance preferred
