Supplier Quality Engineer

-Location: Ave. del Teléfono #200 Huinalá en Apodaca 66640 Monterrey, NLE Mexico

-Contract: 10-12  months.

-On Office Job.

-Shcedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Activities:

-Manage Audit failures and systemic Issues (SCARs) with suppliers for improved processes and product quality.

-Review supplier submitted change requests as relates to supplier moves and projects.

-Manage product and compliance related supplier risk mitigation strategies as required.

-Participate in the development of partnerships with key Suppliers.

-SQE representative for internal and external Audits

-Develop and manage Supplier Audit Program

-Review and manage supplier Scorecards and associated activities

-Perform part qualification for PMI Engineering Changes

-Responsible for problem Solving based on Rolling Top 5 Supplier Issues

-Provide quality input for Supplier Business Reviews

-Input and participate in Supplier Quality Council (SQM)

-Participate in DFx reviews with Suppliers

-Conduct mandatory periodic Supplier Re-Evaluations

-Own, train and insure smooth implementation for process improvements (Process Excellence Eng)

-Develop Risk Mitigation for Provisional Suppliers

-Ensure Quality terms and conditions with suppliers are adequate

Requirements:

-Strong teamwork and communication skills which are effective in cross-functional teams as a leader or member.

-Experience with Manufacturing process engineer activities, programming, rack design, line balancing, time studies.

-Experience working with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.

-Ability to manage complete project cycle from concept to actual implementation.

-Excellent analytical decision making and problem-solving skills.

-Bilingual English / Spanish.
