Seeking ER RN's/Emergency Room Registered Nurses in New York-Rotating Shifts

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate ER RN's/Emergency Room Registered Nurses to join our top rated and heavily awarded teaching hospital in Rochester, New York. Rochester is situated on the southern shore of Lake Ontario and is within days drive of one-third the US population.

As an ER RN, you will provide compassionate and skilled care to patients in the fast-paced and dynamic environment of the emergency room. ER RN Responsibilities:

- Assess and triage patients in the emergency room

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

- Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

- Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan

- Assist in emergency procedures and provide support to physicians during emergency situations

- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff

- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

ER RN Qualifications:

- Valid RN license in the state of New York

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an ER RN

- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-stress environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
