Job Summary:

The RN - Accreditation & Regulatory Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all accreditation and regulatory standards for the organization. This includes monitoring and maintaining all necessary documentation, conducting audits, and providing education and training to staff regarding accreditation and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and maintain compliance with all accreditation and regulatory standards

- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to standards and identify areas for improvement

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance

- Provide education and training to staff on accreditation and regulatory requirements

- Serve as the primary point of contact for all accreditation and regulatory agencies

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with standards

- Stay up-to-date on changes in accreditation and regulatory requirements and communicate updates to staff

- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives

- Prepare and submit reports to accrediting and regulatory agencies as required

Qualifications:

- Active RN license in the state of Georgia

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a leadership or quality improvement role

- Knowledge of accreditation and regulatory standards and requirements

- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
