Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the behavioral health department, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients

- Provide leadership and mentorship to the nursing staff, ensuring they are delivering compassionate and effective care to patients

- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation

- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to improve the overall functioning of the behavioral health department

- Serve as a liaison between the behavioral health department and other departments within the organization

- Stay current on industry trends and best practices, implementing new strategies and techniques as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred

- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role

- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations related to behavioral health services

- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
