We are looking for talented Registered Nurses/RN's to join our team in both the Med Surg and Telemetry Departments. Our hospital specialty programs are consistently ranked among Americas Best Hospitals and earned top honors. We have both Rotating Shifts and Night Shifts available.
Position: Registered Nurse/RN - Med Surg and Telemetry
Job Details: Full time, 12-hour shifts, competitive salary- both Rotating and Night Shifts available.
Registered Nurse/RN - Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Follow all hospital policies and procedures
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
Registered Nurse/RN Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of New York
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical-surgical and telemetry nursing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
