Seeking OR and/or OR Circulating RNs in New York- Both Day & Nights shifts

Permanent Nursing Opportunity 

Position: OR and/or OR Circulating RN

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated OR and/or OR Circulating RNs to join our team in Rochester, New York. We are a leading healthcare staffing agency dedicated to providing quality healthcare professionals to facilities across the United States. As an OR and/or OR Circulating RN, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients during surgical procedures. You will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, preparing the operating room, and assisting the surgical team during procedures. This position requires strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. We have both day and night shifts available. 

OR RN Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients' conditions and prepare them for surgery

- Set up and maintain sterile field in the operating room

- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies

- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes

- Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgeon

- Communicate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient procedure

- Document patient information and maintain accurate records

- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

OR RN Qualifications:

- Active RN license in the state of New York

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room or as an OR Circulating RN

- BLS and ACLS certification

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-stress environment

- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
