Role Overview
An exciting technical opportunity is open for a German-speaking Technical Customer Support Specialist to support a leading international customer experience provider. In this role, you will be dedicated to a high-profile payments and POS (Point of Sale) solutions project, managing technical support for merchants and business partners across Europe. This is a fully remote position allowing you to Work From Home (WFH) from any location within Bulgaria.
Your Responsibilities
- Multichannel Support: Handle incoming calls, emails, and service tickets from merchants and partners, prioritizing issues to consistently meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Hardware & System Diagnostics: Provide technical support for card payment terminals, ATMs, and related digital services. Diagnose and troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, error codes, and hardware device faults.
- Logistics Coordination: Support terminal exchange and replacement hardware requests (RMAs). Manage returns, issue shipping labels, schedule activations, and coordinate technical logistics.
- Merchant Portal Assistance: Assist B2B merchants with platform registration, portal login issues, and credential access.
- Back-Office Operations: Support related administrative tasks, including handling invoice or billing queries, onboarding/deboarding partner accounts, and updating master data fields in the database.
- Incident Tracking: Accurately log case histories, diagnostic details, and specific incident resolutions in the ticketing CRM for audit trails.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Languages: Native or near-native fluency in German (C1/C2) and a good professional command of English (B2).
- Location: Must be physically based in Bulgaria with a reliable internet connection for a home-office environment.
- Technical Aptitude: A strong interest in technical environments, with a natural ability to perform root-cause checks and follow guided diagnostic procedures.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding customer service orientation—calm, highly patient, well-organized, and solution-focused.
- Channel Adaptability: Comfortable alternating fluidly between live phone support, written emails, and back-office ticket handling.
- Preferred: Prior background in a contact center, IT helpdesk, or customer support role, ideally dealing with payment systems, fintech, or electronic hardware components. Basic Excel and CRM ticketing knowledge is a plus.
