Job Overview
We are seeking a customer-focused Dutch Speaking E-commerce Support Specialist to join a leading global customer experience provider. In this role, you will guide online shoppers through their purchase journey by handling order tracking, processing returns, managing refunds, and solving carrier-related shipping exceptions. This position offers the flexibility of a 100% remote work setup from any location within Portugal.
Location & Work Mode
- Country: Portugal
- Work Mode: Work From Home (Full-time remote position based anywhere nationwide in Portugal).
Your Role & Responsibilities
- Support online retail consumers across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, chat, and necessary back-office data management.
- Assist customers with end-to-end order processing, tracking deliveries, resolving payment discrepancies, and issuing refunds.
- Investigate tracking anomalies or lost shipments by coordinating directly with shipping carriers and internal fulfillment logistics teams.
- Process and protect sensitive consumer records (such as payment data and identity information) in strict accordance with GDPR and PCI compliance standards.
- Document customer interactions accurately within internal systems, escalating highly complex cases to specialized departments when required.
Your Qualifications
- Language Proficiency: Fluent written and spoken Dutch (C1/C2 level) paired with good operational English (B2 level).
- Core Competencies: Strong verbal and written communication skills, an analytical problem-solving mindset, and keen attention to detail.
- Data Sensitivity: Comfortable and responsible when handling secure personal data and payment details.
- Adaptability: Ability to stay organized, reliable, and efficient within a fast-paced, deadline-driven digital e-commerce environment.
- Experience (Plus): Previous experience in a call center, remote helpdesk, or retail e-commerce customer support environment is considered an asset.
Shifts & Working Hours
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) operating on a standard operational rotational shift schedule.
Salary, Bonuses & Benefits
- Base Salary Options:
- €1,209.32 Gross per month (with permanent company-provided accommodation included).
- €1,534.82 Gross per month (without company-provided accommodation).
- Allowances: Comprehensive meal allowance alongside integrated Christmas and holiday allowances.
