The Opportunity
With a strong and growing pipeline of projects in the Netherlands, the client is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead their team in Amsterdam. Youll have full autonomy over major interior fit-out projects, from conception through to handover.
Candidates must have solid experience in project management within a similar environment although their current role may be at senior engineer / project engineer / construction manager level. Experience of large fit out projects is essential, with data centre experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of interior fit-out construction, from planning to handover
- Develop, manage, and report on project budgets
- Supervise daily site operations and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
- Serve as the key client contactmanaging expectations and advising on materials and design
- Oversee procurement, scheduling, and coordination of subcontractors, engineers, and architects
- Ensure all activities meet local building codes and health & safety regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues around design, schedule, and cost
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 7-8+ years of experience in construction, ideally with a background in Project Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management
- Must-have: Experience leading large-scale commercial interior fit-out projects
- Nice-to-have: Exposure to data centre construction projects
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and on budget
- Must have EU citizenship or work permit for the Netherlands
