A global customer experience leader is seeking German-speaking Content Moderators for an e-commerce project in Lisbon. This role is vital for maintaining high standards of quality and safety on a popular online marketplace, ensuring all user-generated content adheres to legal and platform-specific guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Content Auditing: Review user-generated content (listings, reviews, images) to ensure compliance with platform policies and legal standards.
• Decision Making: Make informed moderation decisions based on local market knowledge and internal guidelines.
• Accuracy & Efficiency: Maintain high levels of accuracy while meeting performance metrics for speed (latency) and quality.
• Escalation: Identify and escalate sensitive or complex content issues following established procedures.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with evolving moderation policies and content safety guidelines.
• Peak Season Support: Adapt to increased workloads during promotional season peaks.

Requirements

• Language Skills: Native-level fluency in German and a good command of English (minimum B2 level).
• Communication: Strong communication and analytical decision-making skills.
• Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of or background in e-commerce platforms.
• Experience: Prior experience in content moderation, customer service, or similar fields is a plus.
• Resilience: Ability to handle sensitive or difficult content in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work in a rotational shift model (24/7) with two rotating days off per week.
