AIT Engineer – SIGINT (Signals Intelligence)

Job Overview

We are recruiting a highly skilled AIT (Assembly, Integration, and Testing) Engineer on behalf of a fast-growing international space technology company in Valencia, Spain. Operating in the high-stakes space and defense sector, this company develops next-generation Earth observation satellite systems that deliver critical signals intelligence, maritime awareness, surveillance, and national security monitoring capabilities. This on-site role places you at the center of the company's European production ramp-up, where you will manage the physical assembly, complex subsystem integration, and rigorous environmental verification of advanced satellite platforms.

Location & Work Mode

  • City: Valencia
  • Country: Spain
  • Work Mode: On-site (Based full-time at a cutting-edge satellite manufacturing and integration facility in Valencia).

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Hands-on Integration: Execute the end-to-end physical assembly, complex electrical/mechanical subsystem integration, and systemic testing (AIT) of tactical satellite platforms.
  • Verification & Validation: Plan and perform comprehensive system-level functional validation and environmental testing sequences (thermal, vacuum, vibration, acoustic).
  • Anomalies & Root Cause: Troubleshoot complex integration anomalies and electronic failures, conducting rigorous root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions.
  • Production Reviews: Participate in formal design, production readiness, and configuration reviews to ensure seamless translation from the engineering lab to the cleanroom floor.
  • Documentation & Optimization: Author, review, and continuously optimize hardware verification procedures, automated test sequences, and technical manufacturing documentation.
  • Industrialization & Mentorship: Drive Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) and Design-for-Testability (DFT) initiatives to accelerate cleanroom scalability while mentoring assembly technicians and junior engineers on high-reliability aerospace standards.

Your Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications, Systems, or Software Engineering (or a closely related technical discipline).
