German Speaking Digital Content Specialist | Trust & Safety | Sofia

Job Description

We are recruiting German-speaking Digital Content Specialists (Trust & Safety) for an on-site role in Sofia, Bulgaria, partnering with a leading global business process and digital solutions provider.
In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team protecting online communities by reviewing user-generated content, digital media, and advertisements for a major international tech platform. You will analyze submissions against clear community standards, take prompt enforcement actions, and help maintain a secure, compliant digital environment.

Your Role

• Review, evaluate, and moderate user-generated content, ads, and platform submissions against established policy guidelines.
  
• Take objective, decisive action on flagged material that violates community standards, terms of service, or legal regulations (which may occasionally include sensitive or graphic content).
  
• Identify behavioral trends, abuse tactics, and emerging patterns to help prevent fraudulent or harmful platform activity.
  
• Maintain a thorough, up-to-date understanding of platform safety policies and platform compliance procedures.
  
• Articulate and document the rationale behind enforcement decisions with consistency and objectivity.
  
• Manage high work volumes while maintaining uncompromising accuracy, operational speed, and quality standards.
  

Your Qualifications

• Native or C1-level fluency in German (written and reading comprehension).
  
• Solid command of English (B2 level or higher) for internal communications, training, and policy guidelines.
  
• High attention to detail and sound, objective analytical judgment.
  
• Familiarity with German pop culture, current affairs, social trends, and online communication nuances.
  
• Ability to articulate reasoning behind policy enforcement clearly and consistently.
  
• High resilience, emotional maturity, and composure when reviewing sensitive or restricted digital media.
  
• Prior experience in trust & safety, content moderation, fraud analysis, or back-office quality review is an asset.
  
• Based in Sofia or willing to relocate to Bulgaria.

• Work Location & Schedule: On-site position in Sofia, Bulgaria, working full-time (40 hours per week) on a 24/7 rotational shift schedule covering Monday through Sunday (with 2 scheduled rest days per week).
