Role Overview
An exceptional technical opportunity has opened for a German-speaking Cloud Technical Support Specialist to support a leading global IT and cloud services provider. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor, troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure issues, assisting enterprise clients with deployment, and optimizing performance across leading cloud platforms.
Your Responsibilities
- Technical Support & Incident Resolution: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise clients, handling tier-2 technical queries, platform anomalies, and infrastructure issues via ticketing systems, phone, or live chat.
- Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose system logs, analyze cloud infrastructure configurations, and conduct root-cause troubleshooting for networking, storage, and computing errors.
- Client Advisory: Translate complex technical solutions into clear, actionable advice for IT administrators, developers, and enterprise business units in German.
- Cloud Onboarding & Provisioning: Assist clients with identity access configurations, virtual machine deployments, resource provisioning, and security policy setups.
- Escalation Management: Collaborate with senior cloud architects, DevOps teams, and platform engineers to route and resolve critical vendor bugs or service outages.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Languages: Native or near-native fluency in German (C1/C2 level) alongside strong professional written and spoken English (B2+ level).
- Technical Experience: Previous background in IT support, technical helpdesk, system administration, or network engineering.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Solid familiarity with core cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) and fundamental concepts across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
- Networking & OS Fundamentals: Good understanding of TCP/IP protocols, DNS, VPN configurations, firewalls, and basic administration in Linux or Windows Server environments.
- Soft Skills: Methodical problem-solving mindset, high stress tolerance, empathetic customer focus, and clear communication skills.
- Certifications (A Plus): Credentials like Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900/AZ-104), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or CompTIA Network+/Security+ are a distinct advantage.
