About the Role
We are looking for a calm, reliable, and customer-focused Dutch-Speaking Road Services Customer Care Specialist to join an international team in Porto, Portugal, supporting a leading road assistance and services provider. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for Dutch-speaking customers in need of roadside assistance, ensuring they receive prompt, professional, and reassuring support during stressful situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound contacts from Dutch-speaking customers requiring roadside assistance, vehicle recovery, or general road services support
- Accurately assess each situation, gather relevant information, and coordinate the appropriate assistance response
- Provide clear, calm, and empathetic communication to customers throughout the resolution process
- Liaise with service providers, dispatch teams, and third parties to ensure timely assistance is delivered
- Follow up with customers to confirm service completion and ensure satisfaction
- Accurately log all interactions, case details, and outcomes in the CRM system
- Adhere to internal protocols, SLAs, and quality standards at all times
Requirements
- Fluent Dutch (C1/C2 level) — spoken and written
- Proficient level of English
- Strong communication skills with a calm, empathetic, and solution-oriented approach
- Ability to handle urgent and high-pressure situations professionally
- Good geographical awareness and familiarity with road assistance processes is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and organisational skills
- Previous experience in customer service, roadside assistance, or a similar role is beneficial but not required
