Location: Nationwide, Ireland (Relocation Required) Contract Type: Permanent Full-time

Kats Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated Social Care Workers to join well-established private healthcare providers across Ireland. We have multiple roles available focusing on both adult disability services and children in foster care.

Strict Requirements & Experience

To be considered for these roles, you must strictly meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum Experience: 
    • Adult Services: 3+ months of experience with disabilities, autism, or similar conditions.
    • Children's Services: 3+ months experience supporting 8 to 18-year-olds in protective environments.
  • Nationality & Eligibility: EU / UK Passport Holders Only.

  • Qualifications: * Bachelors or Masters Degree in Social Work or Social 

    Education.

    Note: For adult services, candidates will initially be offered Direct 

    Support Worker (DSW) roles with the corresponding salary while 

    awaiting CORU registration to practice in Ireland.
  • Driving License: A Full Manual Driving License is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Care & Support: Provide high-quality care to clients with various conditions, including intellectual disabilities, autism, and acquired brain injuries.
  • Children's Advocacy: Support children (8-18 years) in foster care, fostering a protective environment for their recovery.
  • Assessment & Planning: Collaborate on clinical assessments and behavior plans to support individual progress.
  • Development: Facilitate educational activities and social engagement to promote patient independence.
  • Safety & Compliance: Document progress, liaise with professionals, and ensure the highest standards of safety and confidentiality.
