Estonian Content Moderator – Social Media Industry (Lisbon)
Are you an Estonian speaker who is passionate about internet safety, social media, and digital trends? We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical individuals to join our international team on-site in Lisbon! In this role, you will work behind the scenes for one of the world's most popular digital platforms, helping to maintain a safe, positive, and secure online environment for millions of users.
The Role
- Content Review: Monitor, evaluate, and moderate user-generated content (videos, images, text, and audio) in Estonian to ensure strict alignment with the platform's community guidelines and policies.
- Risk Identification: Detect and quickly flag inappropriate, fraudulent, harmful, or policy-violating material, ensuring swift action is taken.
- Objective Decision-Making: Make independent, accurate choices regarding content removals or escalations based on established global guidelines.
- Data Privacy: Handle sensitive information and user reports with the highest level of confidentiality and digital security.
Working Model & Location
- Location: Lisbon, Portugal.
- Work Model: Full-time, 100% on-site role based in our modern, multicultural tech hub.

Requirements
- Native or Near-Native Estonian: Flawless verbal and written communication skills with an understanding of local cultural nuances and internet slang.
- English Proficiency: B2 level or higher to smoothly navigate training modules and communicate with a global team.
- Legal Status: Must hold an EU Passport or a valid Work Permit for Portugal.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and a high level of objectivity.
- Resilience: Emotional maturity and the ability to process a high volume of digital media with a professional, level-headed mindset.
