Job Overview

We are seeking an analytical and culturally aware Norwegian Speaking Digital Trust & Safety Specialist to join a leading European service provider in Sofia, Bulgaria. Supporting a major international brand, you will play a critical role in evaluating user-generated content, back-office data, and digital advertisements. Your main objective is to safeguard the online community by ensuring platform policy compliance and mitigating digital risks.

Important Content Note: This role involves reviewing flagged online media and ads. Please be aware that the material under review can occasionally contain sensitive or graphic themes, including violence.

  • Work Mode: On-site (Based full-time at a modern corporate facility alongside an international, multicultural team).

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze user-generated back-office data, profiles, and active advertisements to ensure compliance with global platform safety guidelines.
  • Take prompt, objective, and appropriate moderation actions on digital materials that violate corporate policies or present risk.
  • Maintain a deep, continuously updated understanding of internal security protocols and safety policy amendments.
  • Track and identify behavioral patterns to proactively signal potential platform abuse, spam networks, or coordinated violations.
  • Justify and document content decisions with structured reasoning during regular internal quality assurance audits.

Your Qualifications

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in Norwegian (C1 level minimum) paired with a strong operational command of English (B2 level or higher).
  • Cultural Competence: A strong familiarity with modern Nordic pop culture, digital trends, and global current events.
  • Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and the capacity to handle large volumes of data with shifting priorities.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong analytical mindset with the emotional resilience required to objectively review sensitive or graphic online materials.
  • Experience (Asset): Previous experience investigating digital fraud, spam, or platform safety violations is considered an asset.

Shifts & Working Hours

  • Schedule: Full-time hours operating on a 24/7 rotational shift pattern (covering hours from 00:00 to 00:00, Monday to Sunday).

Salary, Bonuses & Benefits

  • Salary Range: €2,000 – €2,200 Gross base per month (plus a welcome bonus of €1,400 – €1,600).
