Content Moderator – Dutch Speaker | E-commerce Platform – Lisbon, Portugal

Introduction

Workster is partnering with a global customer experience leader to recruit Dutch-speaking Content Moderators for an exciting e-commerce project in Lisbon. This role is essential for maintaining the quality and safety of a popular online marketplace, ensuring that products and services meet legal and platform standards.

Responsibilities

• Content Review: Screen user-generated content (listings, reviews, images) to ensure compliance with platform policies and legal regulations.
• Accuracy & Quality: Maintain high levels of detail while meeting performance metrics for speed (latency) and quality.
• Escalation: Identify and escalate sensitive or complex content issues according to internal procedures.
• Policy Updates: Stay current with evolving moderation guidelines and changes in platform policy.
• Safety Support: Ensure a safe environment for users across various media types, particularly during high-traffic promotional seasons.

Requirements

• Language Skills: Native-level fluency in Dutch and a good command of English (minimum B2 level).
• Skills: Strong decision-making abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge: Background in or strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
• Experience: Prior experience in content moderation, customer service, or a similar field is considered an asset.
• Resilience: Ability to handle sensitive content and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability: Flexible to work in rotational shifts (24/7) with two rotating days off per week.
