Social Care Worker – Opportunities Across Ireland

Location: Nationwide, Ireland (Relocation Required) Contract Type: Permanent Full-time

Kats Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated Social Care Workers to join well-established private healthcare providers across Ireland. This role involves supporting individuals with complex needs, fostering a protective environment, and facilitating recovery and independence.

Strict Requirements & Experience

To be considered for this role, you must strictly meet the following criteria:

• Minimum Experience: 3+ months of experience with disabilities, autism, or similar conditions is required.

• Nationality & Eligibility: EU / UK Passport Holders Only.

• Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Social Work.

  • A Social Educator qualification is also accepted.
  • Note: Candidates will initially be offered Direct Support Worker (DSW) roles with the corresponding salary while awaiting CORU registration to practice in Ireland.

• Driving License: A Full Manual Driving License is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Care & Support: Provide high-quality care to patients with various conditions, including intellectual disabilities, autism, and acquired brain injuries.
• Assessment & Planning: Collaborate on clinical assessments and behavior plans to support individual progress.
• Development: Facilitate educational and social activities to promote independence and wellbeing.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation in line with regulatory standards.
• Safety: Foster a safe, protective, and confidential environment for all clients.
