In 2024, they aim to grow by 30% due to the introduction of new products that require expansion to foreign markets. Additionally, they aim to become the number one healthy beverage brand in Asia.
Role Overview
The Commercial Finance, FP&A & Finance Controller Manager plays a critical role in driving financial performance, supporting business decision-making, and ensuring strong financial governance. This position combines commercial finance partnership, financial planning & analysis, and controllership responsibilities to support sustainable growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
Commercial Finance & Business Partnering
- Act as a key finance business partner to Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Management teams.
- Provide financial insights, profitability analysis, and recommendations to support pricing, promotion, and commercial strategies.
- Evaluate business cases, new initiatives, and investment proposals to drive value creation.
- Monitor revenue, margins, and cost drivers, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Analyze financial performance versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, providing clear variance analysis.
- Develop financial models, dashboards, and KPIs to support management decision-making.
- Support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
Finance Controller & Governance
- Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and statutory requirements.
- Strengthen internal controls, financial processes, and risk management frameworks.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Review and approve financial statements, management reports, and key balance sheet accounts.
Cost Control & Performance Management
- Monitor and control operating expenses, working capital, and cash flow.
- Drive cost efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Ensure accurate cost allocation and profitability reporting by product, channel, or business unit.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to build a high-performing finance function.
- Collaborate closely with senior management to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Provide clear financial communication and insights to non-finance stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
- 8–12+ years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Financial Controllership.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Experience in business partnering within fast-paced or complex organizations.
- Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS preferred) and internal control frameworks.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and BI tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
