Position: Finance & Accounting Officer

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare payment vouchers for company expenses and handle basic financial documentation to ensure proper financial processes.
  • Prepare and organize supporting financial documents for payment vouchers, such as payment approval forms, purchase orders, invoices, and other related documents.
  • Verify the completeness and accuracy of expense claims related to business travel, including per diem, accommodation, and other travel expenses.
  • Manage billing documents and other company financial documentation.

  • Issue receipts and tax invoices, including VAT and withholding tax (WHT) related documents.
  • Review documents and process cheque payments according to the companys payment schedule.
  • Record expense transactions in the accounting system.

  • Compile income and expense records and perform bank reconciliation.

  • Maintain proper filing and organization of financial documents according to company procedures.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts payable on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain the companys fixed asset register and record assets in the accounting system.
  • Conduct annual fixed asset verification.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situations effectively.

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of accounting principles.
