Data Platform Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for a Data Platform Manager to lead the organization's IT-side data technology function, covering Data Engineering, Data Platform, and Database Management, while managing a team of Data Engineers and Database Administrators.

This is a hands-on Technical Manager role that requires the ability to design solutions, review technical designs, analyze system performance, and resolve complex technical issues. The role will also establish technical standards and develop the team to deliver data systems that are high-quality, secure, reliable, and stable.

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Data Engineering and Database Administration teams, while remaining hands-on in technical activities.
• Design and develop the organization's Data Architecture, Data Platform, and Database Architecture.
• Design, develop, and review Data Pipelines, Data Models, Data Transformation, and Data Integration solutions.
• Design and manage the Microsoft Fabric Data Platform, including Bronze / Silver / Gold Architecture.
• Perform Database Performance Tuning, SQL Optimization, and Query Troubleshooting.
• Review Database Design, Schema, Indexes, Execution Plans, and Database Transactions.
• Analyze and resolve Pipeline, Database, and Data Performance Issues, including Impact Analysis and Root Cause Analysis.
