Job Description:

Role Purpose:

• Provides leadership to mobile development and support functions, which make up the project and product delivery
• Researches UI and UX trends, updates all existing applications, and works with team members to brainstorm and come up with innovative ideas for new applications
• Combines knowledge of UI and UX with insight into the latest technology in mobile applications and ensures that the mobile applications are secured

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for the successful execution of mobile projects and products, including support and maintenance releases, minor functional releases, and major releases
• Keeps up to date with emerging technologies, concepts, and best practices
• Works on an estimation for an assigned project and products and comes up with pros and cons with all possible technical approaches
• Implements and acts as a role model for a work culture that promotes development and retention of high-quality staff
• Implements a customer-aware culture for their team, ensuring close working relationships with other teams
• Encourages two-way communication with staff, peers, business partners, and other stakeholders
• Works on the POC for emerging technologies and comes up with proposals to compare pros and cons
• Understands product directions and ensures that a delivered mobile application is going the same way
• Leads and manages the day-to-day activities of their team, including supporting career development of the team (objective setting, performance management, etc.)
• Ensures that mobile applications are secured and implemented with best security practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a similar degree
• 5+ years of experience working as a Mobile Development Manager
• Experience in developing UI/UX
• Proficient knowledge of Flutter, native languages development for both iOS and Android
• Good command in English
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Proven portfolio of released applications in Android Market or App Store
• Good analysis and troubleshooting skills
• A good understanding of agile software development.
