Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations in Thailand. As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will oversee a team of 20 finance professionals and play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, ensuring robust compliance and controls, and supporting the business to achieve its growth and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Design and implement financial strategies aligned with the companys business objectives.

Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.

Drive effective financial risk management and internal controls.

Advise the executive team with actionable insights based on financial data and performance metrics.

Manage capital allocation and investment planning to support growth initiatives.
Finance & Operations Oversight

Lead and manage the finance and accounting teams to ensure operational excellence.

Oversee timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.

Maintain relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies including the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC).

Drive process improvements to increase cost efficiency and enhance reporting accuracy.

Manage third-party financial services and outsourcing providers.

Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, development, and team leadership.

Play an active role in executive decision-making.
Financial Governance & Reporting

Oversee regular issuance and analysis of financial reports.

Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.

Present financial results and strategic recommendations to the board of directors.
Qualifications & Requirements

MBA in Finance; CPA is preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector.

In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards, particularly IFRS 17.

Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

Proven leadership capabilities with a collaborative and engaging style.

Demonstrated ability to build and scale high-performing teams.

Proactive, hands-on, and entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of integrity.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
