Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations in Thailand. As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will oversee a team of 20 finance professionals and play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, ensuring robust compliance and controls, and supporting the business to achieve its growth and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Design and implement financial strategies aligned with the companys business objectives.

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.

  • Drive effective financial risk management and internal controls.

  • Advise the executive team with actionable insights based on financial data and performance metrics.

  • Manage capital allocation and investment planning to support growth initiatives.

Finance & Operations Oversight

  • Lead and manage the finance and accounting teams to ensure operational excellence.

  • Oversee timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards.

  • Maintain relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies including the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC).

  • Drive process improvements to increase cost efficiency and enhance reporting accuracy.

  • Manage third-party financial services and outsourcing providers.

  • Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, development, and team leadership.

  • Play an active role in executive decision-making.

Financial Governance & Reporting

  • Oversee regular issuance and analysis of financial reports.

  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.

  • Present financial results and strategic recommendations to the board of directors.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBA in Finance; CPA is preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, ideally within the insurance or financial services sector.

  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards, particularly IFRS 17.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

  • Proven leadership capabilities with a collaborative and engaging style.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale high-performing teams.

  • Proactive, hands-on, and entrepreneurial mindset with a high level of integrity.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
