HIRING POSITION: MANAGING DIRECTOR (MD) - FRUIT DRINKS AND DAIRY PRODUCTS

Our client, founded in 2000, specializes in producing healthy fruit drinks with international standards for export to more than 40 countries worldwide, including Europe and Asia. They are also ranked among the top 3 in Asia, in the healthy beverage market in 2022. With a growth of 20% last year, they were able to generate a revenue of 2.3 billion baht.

In 2024, they aim to grow by 30% due to the introduction of new products that require expansion to foreign markets. Additionally, they aim to become the number one healthy beverage brand in Asia.

Position Summary

They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Director to oversee all aspects of production, operations, and business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production control, particularly in meeting demand, as well as extensive experience in managing overall operations within the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Provide visionary leadership to align company objectives with market trends and customer demands.

Production Control:

  • Oversee production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
  • Develop and implement strategies for maintaining production levels to meet demand.
  • Implement measures to optimize production capacity and minimize downtime.

Operation of Plant:

  • Supervise the operation of production facilities, including equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
  • Implement best practices for plant operations to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels and sourcing strategies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.

Team Leadership:

  • Provide guidance and direction to departmental managers and staff to foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Promote professional development and performance excellence among team members.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement initiatives.

Market Expansion:

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion, both domestically and internationally.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and market presence.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Food Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in production management, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Proven track record of success in managing production control and meeting demand targets.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in financial management and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the food industry.
  • Fluency in English and Thai languages preferred.
