HIRING POSITION: Country Manager Vietnam (Open to Thai Nationals Only )
LOCATION: Vietnam
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate business units in Vietnam effectively, leading operations to ensure sustainable profitability for business affiliates.
- Plan, structure, organize, manage, and control teams, processes, staff, and business partners, aligning with corporate policies and company values.
- Develop and implement business strategies, including contingency plans, coordinating overall corporate strategy with local operations, human resources, finance, marketing, and administration.
- Liaise with the head office to generate budgets, quarterly/annual reports, and 3-year framework reports, ensuring effective use of business systems and achievement of organizational objectives.
- Define country strategy within the groups direction, overseeing the implementation of key initiatives, particularly on priority topics.
- Conduct thorough market and supply intelligence research, evaluating findings to select products based on market requirements, competition, and forecasts. Implement effective propositions for sustainable and profitable business relationships.
- Maintain awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, and industry developments. Analyze the current market climate, including competitor intelligence.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with staff, clients, suppliers, and business partners.
- Oversee market performance and risk profiles, ensuring all regulatory obligations are met and managing the design and implementation of new products and services.
- Improve efficiency and productivity by developing activities in the country, including structure, operations, sourcing, procurement, marketing investments, and human resources, through rational expenditure management for profitable growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher, preferably in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance & Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 20 years of professional experience in sales and marketing management, financial & accounting operations in manufacturing, and operations within the FMCG, seafood, or canned food industries, preferably in a similar industry or market context in Vietnam.
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with expertise in developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies. Knowledge in manufacturing financial & accounting, costing, budgeting, people management, and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and inspire teams, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of the Vietnamese market, including consumer behavior, market trends, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving business growth.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
