Hiring Position: Global IT Support Officer - (L1 - L2 Support: Open to any Nationalities)

Working Location: Bangkok, Thailand (BTS and MRT Accessible)

Working Condition:

  • Hybrid working mode with 2 days' work from home per week with flexible working hours
  • Additional 10 days of work from anywhere per year

Pay Rate: THB 50K to THB 70K

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24x7 IT support for international banks from a centralized service center in Bangkok.
  • Respond to user requests via online, phone, email, and ticketing systems, logging them into the service desk application.
  • Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for global end-users, handling IT issues and resolutions.
  • Communicate incident details to stakeholders and coordinate with 2nd Tier support teams.
  • Analyze monitoring data to identify problems before escalation.
  • Collaborate remotely with local IT, development teams, Corporate IT, and vendors.
  • Improve technical, functional, and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction skills.
  • Handle assigned tasks under pressure, multitask, and support teamwork.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements, including automation.

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Language Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral) for working with international customers.

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in a shared service environment or customer support service center.
  • Experience in user support of client applications, PC/Windows network infrastructure, and customer business applications.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, Windows Server OS, MS Office suite, Office 365.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, LAN networking, VPN, TCP/IP, and network troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of web applications, databases, and internet concepts.
  • Knowledge of monitoring systems (e.g., Zabbix, Splunk).
  • Strong IT infrastructure and operations understanding.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, adaptability, continuous learning, attention to detail.
  • Linux system administration and scripting/automation knowledge is a plus
