This position will be fully responsible for overseeing all financial reporting, planning, and budgeting activities. This includes ensuring the accurate and timely recording of all financial and accounting transactions by maintaining strict disciplines in account reconciliations, internal controls, authorizations, and balances across all departments and partners. Working closely with the Head of Finance Thailand, the role requires the development of financial results and plans in collaboration with the business, regular re-forecasting, and management against reported results. As a leader of the team, the role also involves driving and delivering key financial indicators and team performance.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and Accuracy: Lead the Finance operations team to ensure the accurate and timely recognition of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual transactions and reconciliations.
  • Month-End Closing: Coordinate prompt month-end closing activities to ensure all financial transactions are reported accurately and in compliance with regulatory, group, audit, and industry requirements.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate monthly financial reports, consolidating data into Group, Management, Insurance, Statutory, and Tax views, including performing monthly reconciliations between these reporting views and analyzing results against plans.
  • Cash-Flow Forecasting: Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual cash-flow forecasts and scenario planning.
  • Audit and Compliance: Manage audit and CIT activities for all entities.
  • Vendor and Expense Control: Oversee the vendor master file, bank mandate, and general expense authorization limits for entities.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure all entities comply with Group Reporting and Accounting Policy requirements, implementing necessary changes, and maintaining and normalizing charts of accounts locally and at group level to enhance efficiency and reconciliation analysis.
  • Team Leadership: Drive and deliver team performance, support the team to achieve key financial indicators through best operational practices, and ensure adherence to SLAs with business partnerships.
  • Process Enhancement: Enhance accounting systems and financial processes to simplify and automate month-end group reporting, budgeting, reconciliation analysis, and reporting checks.
  • Support FP&A: Assist the Group FP&A Manager with group reporting, budgeting, and analysis as needed.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Support various ad-hoc projects that require finance contributions or involvement.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting and management, including the interlinking of P&L, cash flow, and balance sheets
    • Excellent financial modeling and planning skills, particularly in Excel
    • Experience with SunAccount, including understanding its structure, processes, chart of accounts, and reporting procedures
  • Communication Skills:

    • Intermediate written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial planning and reporting role
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a management role
