Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth and profitability in line with company targets.
  • Develop portfolio and brand strategies to meet business objectives.

  • Ensure successful implementation of approved marketing programs to achieve set objectives.
  • Manage A&P budget efficiently to meet business objectives.
  • Supervise and coach team members to achieve performance targets and develop their skills.
  • Translate business objectives into strategic directions for brands and products.
  • Lead the team in translating strategic directions into integrated marketing plans.
  • Develop brand and portfolio strategies, ensuring alignment with brand implementation plans.
  • Initiate and manage new product development projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Gain consumer insights through research and market visits to capitalize on market opportunities and build brand equity.
  • Monitor brand expenditure and assess cost elements impacting brand profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to align product and brand activities with business plans.
  • Manage external resources (agencies, research companies, suppliers) to ensure alignment with brand objectives.
  • Plan, lead, supervise, coach, and motivate subordinates to achieve common goals and targets.
  • Provide clear career paths and necessary support to subordinates for skill development and career advancement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Management, or equivalent.
  • 5-7 years of brand management experience in the FMCG / Consumer product industry.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams.
  • Good understanding of financial management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability and ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
