Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth and profitability in line with company targets.
- Develop portfolio and brand strategies to meet business objectives.
- Translate strategies into integrated marketing plans.
- Lead a team in developing impactful marketing plans with actionable activities.
- Ensure successful implementation of approved marketing programs to achieve set objectives.
- Manage A&P budget efficiently to meet business objectives.
- Supervise and coach team members to achieve performance targets and develop their skills.
- Translate business objectives into strategic directions for brands and products.
- Lead the team in translating strategic directions into integrated marketing plans.
- Develop brand and portfolio strategies, ensuring alignment with brand implementation plans.
- Initiate and manage new product development projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Gain consumer insights through research and market visits to capitalize on market opportunities and build brand equity.
- Monitor brand expenditure and assess cost elements impacting brand profitability.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to align product and brand activities with business plans.
- Manage external resources (agencies, research companies, suppliers) to ensure alignment with brand objectives.
- Plan, lead, supervise, coach, and motivate subordinates to achieve common goals and targets.
- Provide clear career paths and necessary support to subordinates for skill development and career advancement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Management, or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of brand management experience in the FMCG / Consumer product industry.
- Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams.
- Good understanding of financial management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
- Creative, strategic thinker with analytical skills.
