HIRING POSITION: Financial Controller / Finance Manager (FMCG)

Position Summary:

Lead and manage the Companys financial reporting, accounting, and statutory requirements, including audit & tax reporting, compliance, planning, and audit processes within the bounds of international and local audit & tax regulations, company policies & procedures, and ensuring the Companys compliance with external reporting requirements for Thailand.

  • Assure proper recording of business transactions so that the financial statements of the business are accurate and timely.
  • Establish and enforce robust internal controls to protect the assets of the business and to ensure compliance with regulatory laws and strong corporate governance.
  • Lead and manage the Companys tax reporting, compliance, planning, and audit processes with the objectives of managing the Companys tax risks & exposures, optimizing the Companys tax benefits, and ensuring the Companys compliance with external reporting requirements.
  • Support the implementation of new processes, controls, and systems.
  • Partner and work closely with HQ and local business/operational head in developing the business/financial plan and providing financial support for key business decisions.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree (B.A.), with CA or CPA qualification, with 8x years post-qualified experience
  • 3+ years experience in a big four accounting firm, plus company operating experience
  • Strong across technical accounting, financial control processes (i.e., R2R, P2P, O2C) and operations finance / product costing
  • Significant relevant experience in a similar finance leadership role
  • FMCG industry experience with work on food and beverage brands
  • Startup experience
