Job Summary:

The Chief of Staff serves as a key advisor and right-hand person to the Country Manager and Executive Committee; managing various strategic initiatives, coordinating projects, and ensuring alignment across departments. To act as a liaison between the Country Manager and other executives, departments, and external stakeholders. The Chief of Staff plays a crucial role in driving organizational priorities, facilitating communication, and executing high-level strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate closely with the Country Manager to devise and execute strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Foster cross-functional teamwork to align with organizational objectives and track OKRs.
  • Monitor the progress of key initiatives and furnish regular updates to the Country Manager, Executive Management, HOD, and relevant stakeholders.

Communication and Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication channels between the Country Manager, Executive Management, HOD, and other departments.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key stakeholders.

Project Management:

  • Supervise and synchronize major projects and initiatives.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • Ensure efficient execution and delivery of project objectives.

Decision Support:

  • Offer analytical and strategic guidance to the Country Manager, Executive Management, and HOD in decision-making processes.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare presentations or reports as required.
  • Proactively identify challenges and opportunities for enhancement.

Executive Support:

  • Aid the Country Manager and Executive Management in scheduling, meeting preparation, and other administrative tasks.
  • Handle confidential information and sensitive matters with utmost discretion.
  • Represent the Country Manager and Executive Management in meetings or events as necessary.

Organizational Leadership:

  • Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the organization.
  • Support leadership development initiatives and mentorship programs.
  • Serve as an exemplar and advocate for the company's values and mission.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in project management or collaborative roles.
  • Proficient in strategic thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive results.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
