HIRING POSITION: Head of live commerce

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance Live commerce operations (featuring live and video content) across social platforms and marketplaces by instituting streamlined processes, identifying strategic partnerships, and fostering rapid expansion. Gain insight into platform algorithms to boost visibility and traffic for Live events, optimizing sales performance.
  • Establish and oversee live event scheduling, operational systems, and day-to-day monitoring to track progress towards objectives and identify challenges. Strategize, monitor, and evaluate key performance metrics to ensure smooth and efficient execution of live events at scale. Analyze data and deliver comprehensive reports to management.
  • Create strong relationships with department heads, external partners, and vendors to drive operational decisions and align with strategic objectives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (including Merchandising, Graphic Design, Shopping Hosts, Marketing, and Analytics) and influencer management to accelerate adoption of live shopping, attracting relevant traffic to each event.
  • Formulate strategies to fuel the growth of live commerce adoption and conversion, implementing process enhancements to improve creator experiences and overall output.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in end-to-end live streaming operations, event and content production, broadcasting, advertisement, MCNs, or related fields.
  • Proficiency with various live streaming platforms and adeptness in leveraging them for sales and engagement.
  • Experience in managing OBS (Open Broadcaster Software).
  • Flexible availability to accommodate operational needs.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills, demonstrating critical thinking, decision-making, and creativity.
