HIRING POSITION: Financial Controller 

WORKING CONDITION: ONSITE

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Finance - Thailand will manage the daily accounting functions of the Thai Group companies, ensuring compliance with the financial control framework established by the group. This role includes delivering timely management information to the group accounting function on a monthly basis and ensuring adherence to local tax laws and statutory reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for the Thai entities within the group.
  • Provide detailed explanations for any major variances from budget and forecast on a monthly basis.
  • Oversee the accounting function in Thailand, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in line with the groups financial control framework.
  • Ensure the timely production of annual financial statements in accordance with Thai legal requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with all tax laws and reporting requirements, maintaining relationships with Thai tax authorities.
  • Monitor and report cash resources weekly, and forecast short, medium, and long-term cash requirements for Thailand.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts for Thailand as required by the group accounting function.
  • Manage bank payments through online banking systems.
  • Collaborate with the group accounting function on the implementation of new systems and processes.
  • Maintain relationships with local statutory auditors and accounting advisors as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Experience developing and managing a finance function and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA or local equivalent preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, databases).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing and dynamic environment.
