Senior Design Engineer

HIRING POSITION: SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER

Position Summary

Providing support technical and solutions to enhance E&A Design Consultants (Included Specification team) effectiveness output for increasing satisfy E&A and Owner Buildings.

The role requires comprehensive design plans as part of project proposals, following the clients' specifications and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• To provide technical support and design optimized solution to enhance E&A Design Consultants

• Support to achieve the overall specification team targets and budgeted sales volume, margin and revenue.

• Provide technical support on design drawings and detailing of the steel rigid frame, roof truss solutions with components and offer packaged innovative roof solutions.

• Provide quantity take-off for all steel rigid frame, roof truss, components, and related accessories for estimate budgetary.

• Provide technical expertise and support to channel partners in all aspects of design- related issues.

• To ensure technical capabilities and design code stay abreast with local, AS & Euro standard or approval code.
• Eager to search for and learn innovation related jobs.

• Capable of working under minimum supervision either independently or in a team (including cross-function).

• Carry out duties as and when directed by the management.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering.
• At least 5 years' experience in design, building construction or steel manufacturing industry.
• Able to use engineering software for designing structure and drafting.
• Strong / good relationship with architects and/or consultant.
• Fast learner, self-resourceful to search for market opportunities and able to manage projects.
• Good command in English and high computer literacy
• Good interpersonal, communication, presentation skill and project management
• Capable of managing ad hoc tasks, working within tight dateline etc.
• Own a car and a valid driving license.
