Position: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the Opportunity:

The CFO will oversee all financial operations of our local crypto exchange, ensuring financial stability, regulatory compliance, and transparent reporting. This role manages finances, risk, and liquidity to meet licensing requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Management:

• Manage fiat and crypto liquidity to ensure smooth operations.

• Handle financial audits and tax compliance.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations (AML, CFT, capital requirements).

• Prepare and submit financial reports to regulators.

• Work with legal teams on licensing and compliance matters.

• Monitor financial risks (fraud, market volatility, liquidity gaps).

• Implement strong internal controls for fund security.

• Safeguard customer assets (segregation of funds, reserve audits).

• Manage relationships with banks, payment processors, and auditors.

• Report financial performance to the CEO and board.

• Collaborate with cross department and finance functions

Requirement:

• 8+ years in operations/fintech/crypto exchanges or financial services.

• Experienced in financial reporting (GAAP/IFRS) and audits, liquidity management and financial regulations (AML, capital controls, licensing).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
