We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our growing team in Bangkok, Thailand. This role is ideal for a hunter-style sales professional with a strong background in freight forwarding, who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Key Requirements:
- Freight forwarding experience is mandatory candidates without prior experience in this industry will not be considered.
- Only local candidates will be considered applicants must have a valid work permit for Thailand.
- Aggressive, field-active sales approach this role requires a proactive sales professional who can generate new business and drive revenue growth.
- High commission-based role ideal for candidates with an existing customer portfolio looking to maximize earnings.
Growth Opportunity:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales team. This includes:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy.
- Managing P&L responsibilities for the sales department.
- Overseeing hiring and training programs to support long-term business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve both local and international sales targets.
- Conduct prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation to secure new clients.
- Represent the company in negotiations and partnerships with clients, airlines, shipping lines, and business partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and solution-oriented selling.
- Take ownership of customer issues, ensuring resolution with a high level of service.
- Demonstrate expertise in freight forwarding sales concepts and techniques, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the industry. Logistics operational knowledge is a plus.
- Show a proven track record in sales success, with the ability to build and expand client networks.
- Be an independent self-starter with excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Lead by example and implement best sales practices across the sales team, ensuring clarity in expectations and performance goals.
