Overview:

The Group VP of Finance will serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, steering the financial direction of the organization and ensuring sustainable growth. This executive will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including planning, reporting, compliance, cash flow, and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate is a commercially savvy finance leader with a strong track record in the cosmetics, consumer goods, or manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy & Executive Leadership

  • Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board on financial performance, investment decisions, and long-term planning.

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance team.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Drive the budgeting process, long-range planning, and forecasting models.

  • Analyze business performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable insights to cross-functional leaders.

  • Track key financial KPIs and performance indicators.

3. Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and relevant standards.

  • Manage internal controls, audits, and statutory compliance, including tax planning and filings.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international financial reporting standards and local regulations.

4. Cash Flow & Capital Management

  • Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity management, and working capital optimization.

  • Build and maintain strong banking and investor relationships.

  • Evaluate and secure funding options to support strategic initiatives.

5. Risk Management & Governance

  • Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.

  • Develop and enforce internal policies and procedures to protect the companys assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

6. Strategic Partnership & Business Enablement

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and R&D to support new product launches, pricing strategies, and expansion plans.

  • Provide financial modeling and commercial support for strategic projects and partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA required, MBA or equivalent is a plus.

  • Minimum of 10 years in progressive finance roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.

  • Experience in the cosmetics, consumer goods, or manufacturing sectors is strongly preferred.

  • Proven success in scaling finance functions and supporting growth in a fast-paced, product-driven organization.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, compliance frameworks, and international reporting requirements.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in financial systems and ERP tools.
