Responsibilities
- Design and Develop Training Programs: Create comprehensive training programs for the sales team, including new hire onboarding, product knowledge, sales techniques, and soft skills.
- Conduct Training Sessions: Deliver training using various methods such as workshops, seminars, webinars, and one-on-one coaching.
- Collaborate with Commercial Team: Work closely with the commercial team to identify training needs and align training initiatives with business objectives.
- Advise on Development Plans: Recommend development plans to the commercial team based on training needs and performance metrics.
- Support New Product Launches (NPD): Develop and deliver targeted training programs for new product launches, ensuring the sales team is well-prepared to promote and sell new products effectively.
- Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Analyze Training Data: Identify areas for improvement by analyzing training data and adjust programs accordingly.
- Motivate the Sales Team: Create engaging and effective training initiatives to motivate the sales team.
- Foster Positive Training Environment: Enhance team performance by fostering a positive and motivating training environment.
- Implement Engagement Strategies: Develop strategies to keep the sales team engaged and motivated.
- Continuous Monitoring and Evaluation: Regularly monitor and evaluate training programs to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the sales team and the business.
- Prepare Reports: Generate regular reports on training progress and effectiveness for senior management.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Sciences, or a related field; a Masters degree is advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales training and Learning and Development, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, insurance or consumer health industries.
- Adult Learning Principles: Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- E-Learning Proficiency: Proficient in using e-learning platforms and training software.
- Language Proficiency: Good command of spoken and written English.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and feedback.
