Recruitment and Retention

  • Develop and manage the recruitment strategy and process.
  • Review job advertisements before posting, screen resumes/CVs, conduct pre-screening, coordinate interview teams, participate in candidate interviews, and ensure proper documentation is collected and filed.
  • Collaborate with HRBP and Talent Acquisition to facilitate job analysis and update job descriptions.

Employee Relations and Compliance

  • Annually review the Personnel Handbook, recommending updates based on local conditions or labor law changes.
  • Manage timesheets for the office, ensuring timely submission, approval, accuracy, and filing.
  • Work with senior management to address employee relations issues in a pragmatic way.
  • Investigate employee relations matters to ensure decisions are fair and consistent with HR policies.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Collaborate with the Finance & Accounting Manager in preparing monthly payroll and review final employee payments for accuracy and legal compliance.
  • Monitor compensation practices to ensure internal equity and benefits compliance.

Training, Development, and Performance Management

  • Assess employee training and development needs and provide recommendations.
  • Oversee the coordination and execution of annual performance reviews.

Administration and Office Management

  • Ensure efficient administration of all office functions for The Monk Studios in both Bangkok and Chiang Mai.
  • Manage and monitor visa and work permit processes.
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal audit processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in human resources.
  • Experience in the animation or gaming industry (preferred).
  • Strong ability to work with management on assessing complex issues.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • A deep understanding of confidentiality in HR matters.
  • Proficiency in both Thai and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
