Sales Manager Indonesia
Our client is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth and expand our footprint within Indonesia. Our client provides cutting-edge solutions to the life science sector, focusing on areas such as Pharma, Biotech, Cell and Gene Therapy, CDMO, Vaccines, and more. Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development
- Achieve and exceed assigned Order Income targets for key accounts and designated territories.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and new prospects.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage technical and commercial inquiries from customers.
- Support the Sales Excellence team in preparing customer demonstrations and/or workshops.
- Prepare proposals and bid documents with assistance from the Sales Excellence Team.
- Apply a consultative sales approach to develop long-term relationships with key accounts and prospects.
- Facilitate pre- and post-sales discussions and activities with customers.
- Participate in and support both internal and external marketing events.
- Understand the sales cycle of software products and ensure a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet Order Income targets.
- Assist the regional sales & marketing team as needed.
Technical Expertise
- Experience in solution selling within technology markets, specifically in Information and/or Operational Technology.
- Familiarity with process and manufacturing markets, with a preference for the life sciences industry (other sectors also considered).
- Knowledge of ISA 95 standards, especially in Level 2 & 3 process automation.
- Understanding of GAMP 5 for computerized systems, project life cycle management, and Computer System Validation.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), either in project delivery or sales, is a plus.
- Knowledge of Pharma 4.0 principles and digitalization strategies.
Profile Requirements:
- Degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Biotech, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field relevant to the Pharma IT environment.
- Minimum of 3- 5 years' experience in the life sciences industry, either as a user or a vendor.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence in engaging clients and large groups.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.
- Team player with a dynamic personality, analytical skills, and a hands-on approach.
- Well-connected within the life sciences market in Indonesia.
- Patience, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
- Willingness to travel (10-20%, both domestically and internationally).

Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience in Software, IoT, Automation, or IT, with a track record of successful results. OR
- 2-3 years of active involvement in Indonesia's life sciences manufacturing sector, with a strong network. OR
- Experience working in an international MNC, with a background in project pursuit or account management, a strong understanding of matrix organizations, and fluency in English, as well as familiarity with the local life sciences culture.
