About the job Merchandising Manager (Fashion Retail)
Key Responsibilities

Lead and guide the merchandising team to achieve sales and profitability targets through strategic planning and effective execution.

Analyze sales performance across weekly, monthly, and quarterly periods, and develop action plans to drive growth.

Conduct market and trend analysis to support seasonal assortment planning, buying strategies, and product selection.

Optimize stock performance by leveraging fast-moving products and creating markdown strategies for slow or aged inventory.

Continuously review and improve merchandising SOPs to enhance operational efficiency.

Manage merchandising reports and data analysis to support strategic business decisions.

Collaborate closely with Visual Merchandising and Sales & Operations teams to implement cohesive visual strategies across retail formats.

Oversee and develop the merchandising team, including Buyers, Merchandisers, and Administrative staff.

Participate in cross-functional initiatives and undertake special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Fashion, Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Over 10 years of relevant merchandising experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the retail industry.

Proven expertise in merchandise planning, inventory and category management, and vendor negotiations.

Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to mentor and inspire team members.

Analytical mindset with a solid grasp of retail metrics and performance analysis.

Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English.

Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multitasking environment.

Knowledge of import logistics, shipping processes, and e-commerce operations is a plus.

Experience working with international brands or brand principals is preferred.
