People Manager Digital Transformation Leader

Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Reports to: Chief People Officer (CPO)

Job Summary:

An experienced and energetic People Manager is sought to lead the full spectrum of human resources functions while spearheading the organizations digital transformation journey. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who is deeply aligned with core values, passionate about developing people, and skilled at building modern, multi-generational teams. Key responsibilities include HR strategy, workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, compensation & benefits, and compliance. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic partner and operational driver in shaping a high-performing, future-ready organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Design and implement HR strategies that align with the companys digital and business growth objectives.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to translate organizational goals into actionable people plans.

  • Define and track HR KPIs; apply digital tools and analytics to optimize workforce performance and engagement.

  • Monitor labor market trends, especially for emerging talent segments, and recommend forward-looking HR initiatives.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee all HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, digital performance management, employee records, and policy enforcement.

  • Ensure compliance with Thai labor laws, tax regulations, social security, and occupational safety standards.

  • Maintain audit-ready records and a digital-first HRIS environment.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment using modern digital platforms to attract top-tier, tech-savvy talent.

  • Plan workforce needs aligned with business expansion and succession readiness.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits frameworks based on market data.

  • Administer payroll and ensure policy compliance with internal and regulatory standards.

Performance Management

  • Drive performance management processes, using KPI-based and digital appraisal systems.

  • Partner with leaders on performance coaching, recognition, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Learning & Development

  • Establish company-wide learning strategies focused on digital skills, leadership development, and continuous learning.

  • Organize internal and external training, mentoring, and cross-functional development programs.

  • Measure training effectiveness and adapt programs based on outcomes and employee feedback.

Employee Relations & Culture

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary matters.

  • Lead initiatives to foster an inclusive, values-based, and innovation-driven workplace culture.

  • Oversee employee engagement programs, communication strategies, and policy rollouts.

Talent Management & Succession Planning

  • Identify high-potential individuals and manage development pathways for key roles.

  • Implement succession planning strategies to ensure organizational continuity and leadership readiness.

HR Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and present reports and dashboards on recruitment, retention, performance, and training.

  • Use data insights to guide HR strategies and support executive decision-making.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.

Experience:

  • 6-10 years in HR management, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.

  • Experience in digital HR transformation, multi-business operations (F&B, retail preferred), and working with Gen Z and Millennial talent.

Technical Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of Thai labor law, HR compliance, compensation, and organizational development.

  • Proficient in HRIS, payroll systems, and tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Teams, Slack, or Asana.

  • Familiarity with digital recruitment, performance tools, and ESG, ISO, KPI, or SOP frameworks.

Soft Skills:

  • Strategic thinker with strong execution ability.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Adaptable, solution-oriented, and people-centric.

Language:

  • Fluent in Thai and English (both written and spoken).
