Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate, timely and comprehensive financial reporting to the management team
  • Budget preparing, monitoring prepares and analysis of all finance aspects
  • Work with management team to provide guidance on issues arising from this financial and accounting areas
  • Oversee all accounting procedures, financial transactions and systems used by the group
  • Establish, implement, and monitor the group's finance policies and procedures, incorporating both accounting policies and internal procedural controls
  • Prepare annual financial statements, tax planning and required regulatory returns as well as overseeing the external audit process and effectively manage the Finance team
  • Ensure compliance with accounting and tax-related regulations, laws and filing requirements in all required areas
  • Ensure annual audits are carried out effectively and efficiently, and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met regarding the group's financial affairs
  • Manage relationships and budgets of external service providers including tax, audit and banking.
  • Management of accounting systems and external support including month end close procedures
  • Team management

Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant (preferably a financial accounting focused qualification eg CPA)
  • Must have - Regional & overseas exposure
  • Experience in group consolidated financial statements
  • Experience in Big 4 audit firms / financial services / Multinational companies would be a plus
  • Good knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and consolidation accounting methodology.
  • Experience of managing a finance function in a fast-moving, rapidly growing environment
  • Experience of managing across different cultures
  • Proven ability to drive efficiency and process reviews across an international organization
  • Commercially astute individual, capable of strategic thinking and with sound judgement
  • Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills
  • Understanding of international tax preferred
  • Business fluency in English.
