Position: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

About the Opportunity:

The COO ensures smooth day-to-day operations, regulatory adherence, and execution of the CEOs strategy. The COO focuses on scaling operations, technology, and compliance while optimizing efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Operational Management:

• Oversee trading operations, liquidity management, and customer onboarding.

• Ensure seamless integration with the parent exchanges technology stack.

• Implement AML/CFT, KYC, and transaction monitoring systems.

• Work with the CEO to ensure audit readiness and regulatory reporting.

• Supervise IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and blockchain node management.

• Coordinate with the parent exchanges tech team on wallet custody, APIs, and trading engines.

• Manage relationships with banks, payment processors, and vendors.

• Resolve escalated customer support and fraud cases.

• Develop scalable processes for local market needs.

• Lead cost-efficiency initiatives without compromising compliance.

Requirement:

• 8+ years in operations/fintech/crypto exchanges or financial services.

• Expertise in crypto trading systems, compliance tools, and risk management.

• Hands-on experience with regulatory reporting and audits.

• Strong technical acumen in blockchain, cybersecurity, and payment systems.
