HIRING POSITION: Trade Marketing Analyst (FMCG)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquiring market data from various sources including categories, competitors, customers, and channels for analysis and transforming data into actionable insights.
  • Assisting the Channel Manager in formulating channel strategies and plans.
  • Working closely with the Market Insight and Brand teams to evaluate New Product Development (NPD) initiatives across channels.
  • Supplying market, category, and internal data to devise appropriate pricing strategies across distribution channels.
  • Taking the lead in developing category strategies and guidelines.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to co-create innovative launches, encompassing campaign development, financial planning, channel strategies, activation plans, packaging, pricing, and promotional recommendations.
  • Developing customized approaches for specific product categories, designed to suit the unique needs of each channel and customer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field related to the job.
  • At least 5 years of experience in trade marketing, category analysis, or similar roles within the FMCG industry.
  • Proficiency in collecting diverse data to inform strategy and actionable plans.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools such as Kantar World Panel, Nielsen, EY, Dunnhumby, and 8Digital.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent abilities in presenting information, aligning strategies, and negotiating effectively.
