Position Chief Executive Offer (CEO)

About the Opportunity:

The CEO is responsible for the overall strategic leadership, regulatory compliance, and operational performance of the local entity. The CEO ensures adherence to local financial regulations, drives business growth, and maintains robust governance standards in line with the parent exchanges policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory & Compliance Oversight:
  • Ensure full compliance with local financial regulations, AML/CFT, and licensing requirements.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulators (e.g., central bank, financial authorities).
  • Oversee licensing applications, audits, and reporting obligations.
    • Develop and execute the local entitys business strategy in alignment with the parent exchange.
    • Drive market expansion, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
      • Chair executive meetings and ensure adherence to corporate governance standards.
      • Implement risk management frameworks for cybersecurity, fraud, and financial risks.
        • Represent the company before regulators, partners, and investors.
        • Maintain strong relationships with the parent exchanges leadership.
          • Approve budgets, financial controls, and major expenditures.
          • Ensure operational efficiency across trading, custody, and customer support.

          Requirement:

          • 10+ years in executive leadership (fintech, crypto, or financial services preferred).
          • Deep knowledge of local crypto/financial regulations (e.g., AML/KYC, licensing).
          • Proven track record in regulatory engagement and compliance.
          • Strong understanding of blockchain, crypto trading, and custody solutions.

          • Strong understanding of emerging compliance and regulatory trends in the global crypto ecosystem
