Job Summary:

The Head of Sales will serve as a key strategic leader, driving rapid sales growth for cloud solutions through an extensive partner channel network. This role involves building and managing a high-performing sales team, devising and implementing a winning sales strategy, and surpassing revenue goals for cloud products and services. The position plays a vital role in expanding the cloud market presence and enabling partners to deliver exceptional customer value.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of cloud sales professionals.
  • Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to align with partner objectives.
  • Establish ambitious yet achievable sales targets and quotas for the team.
  • Mentor and coach team members to foster individual and collective success.
  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations.
  • Negotiate and close complex deals with partners.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Implement sales enablement initiatives to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure consistent success.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally in cloud computing or enterprise software.
  • Demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • In-depth understanding of the cloud computing ecosystem and related products/services.
  • Extensive experience with partner channel sales strategies and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant cloud certifications in sales or technology are a plus.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Results-driven with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
