Job Summary:
The Head of Sales will serve as a key strategic leader, driving rapid sales growth for cloud solutions through an extensive partner channel network. This role involves building and managing a high-performing sales team, devising and implementing a winning sales strategy, and surpassing revenue goals for cloud products and services. The position plays a vital role in expanding the cloud market presence and enabling partners to deliver exceptional customer value.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of cloud sales professionals.
- Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to align with partner objectives.
- Establish ambitious yet achievable sales targets and quotas for the team.
- Mentor and coach team members to foster individual and collective success.
- Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations.
- Negotiate and close complex deals with partners.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Implement sales enablement initiatives to enhance team effectiveness.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure consistent success.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally in cloud computing or enterprise software.
- Demonstrated history of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- In-depth understanding of the cloud computing ecosystem and related products/services.
- Extensive experience with partner channel sales strategies and best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant cloud certifications in sales or technology are a plus.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills.
- Results-driven with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
