Position Title: Plant Controller Manager

Job Grade: Manager
Work Location: Factory and/or Bangkok Office
Direct Reports: Finance and Control Director

Accountability and Objectives

Manage Plant Control function to deliver tasks timely with accuracy and insight for company and cross functions to achieve the objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Plant Controlling and/or Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Hands-on ERP experience

  • Excellent analytical ability and business acumen with strong articulation to convert data into business insights

Key Responsibilities

Financial Performance Management

  • Provide insightful analysis with recommendations for monthly performance

  • Continuously review and improve management reports

  • Lead financial planning process (budget and monthly forecast) and its improvement to ensure accuracy, completeness, and sound financial consideration

  • Support business development and financial performance improvement

  • Support key production initiatives: capacity expansion, co-manufacturing, outsourcing

Cost Saving and Capital Investment

  • Proactively search for process improvement and cost efficiency

  • Responsible for business justifications and feasibility studies

  • Ensure realization of benefits from cost-saving and capital projects

  • Drive asset utilization and control with operations and supply chain teams

Production and Headcount Planning

  • Coordinate with supply chain to ensure optimal production and bottling planning

  • Coordinate with production and HR for direct labor and overtime planning

  • Validate and forecast labor costs with HR

  • Provide recommendations to optimize direct labor costs

Operating Cost Planning and Other Priorities

  • Validate, challenge, and monitor cost-saving initiatives and their implementation

  • Drive efficiency in other operating costs (e.g., consumables, departmental spending)

  • Support NPD (New Product Development) with R&D and production teams

  • Responsible for accurate product costing and timely updates to transfer pricing to ensure profit targets

  • Coordinate and follow up on internal control agenda across operations

  • Stakeholder management and cross-functional interpersonal skills (Thailand/US leadership)
