Our client is a leading no-frills carrier with the most significant number of domestic routes within Thailand. The airline is also planning on opening more destinations regionally. Based on the data from the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the country expects tourism revenue to reach 80% of what it was before the pandemic.

As one of the major carriers here in the Kingdom, the airline expects to experience a boom in the tourist industry after the pandemic domestically and regionally and they are now looking for a Head of International Sales to land a professional successful career with them.

Main purpose of the job:

  • Develop and maintain travel agent (Corporate & Government) product.
  • Accurately forecast annual and monthly revenue streams.
  • Generate weekly and monthly sales report to Head of Sales and identify sales opportunities.
  • Provides monthly and quarterly results assessments of sales staffs productivity.
  • Develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth in Corporate product.
  • Monitor sales performance and making recommendation of promotion or activities to expand revenue.
  • Manage expenditures to ensure costs associated with local sales measures and initiatives
  • Keep up to date on competitor/industry information and maintain timely flow of key information to Head of Sales
  • Recommend monthly market driven sales plan and work with members of the sales team, other commercial teams and appointed Sales team to leverage B2B, sales opportunities
  • Provide input to Head of Sales on additional opportunities for tactical pricing actions for incremental traffic, as well as marketing opportunities through travel agents, API/GDS partners, and Tourism organization
  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
  • Formulates policies, practices and procedures for Corporate product.
  • Collaborates with Head of Sales to develop sales strategies to improve market share in Corporate product.
  • Monitor sales revenue of Corporate & Government project on travel agent, real Customer channel and work closely with Corporate Sales to improve product for increase revenue.
  • Collaborates with Revenue Management to make promotion for travel agent in order to urge market share.
  • Work closely with Branding & Designer to set visibility on travel agent shop/area included all sales materials to promote branding.
  • Visit Corporate (in Northern, North - eastern, southern and central) to develop and maintain relationships
  • Develop Payment Channel & Payment method (Automatic system by NSB)

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or Masters degree from a top-tier university with consistent outstanding academic record;
  • Advanced degree or MBA is preferred
  • Proven record of high performance and substantial achievements in your past positions
  • Outstanding records of academic and managerial or professional achievement
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Have ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • International knowledge airline business
  • Experience in all position minimum 5 years up
  • English/ Chinese communication is perfect
